Sunrise Mocktail Recipe
Picture this: You wake up, it’s hot, and it’s still dark outside.
You’re awake before dawn has broken. You hop in your car and race to the beach to beat the sun before it rises.
One of the all-time best summer activities is waking up to watch the sun rise. This has inspired the next addition to our Sober Summer Series: the Sunrise Mocktail.
The Confidant Sober Summer Series is about making popular cocktails and drinks more accessible and enjoyable for all. In our spin on the classic, we put the tequila down and swapped it for a bottle of sparkling cider to pair well with the tropical flavors of this summer favorite.

2 oz of sparkling cider
2 oz of grapefruit juice
2 oz of pineapple juice
Agave as desired
Grenadine as desired
Maraschino cherries (optional)
Pour ice into your glass
Pour sparkling cider over the ice
Add grapefruit juice
Add pineapple juice
Add as much agave as desired to combat the tartness
Garnish with maraschino cherries and an orange slice. You can add the juice from the orange if desired as well.
Stir after serving to preserve the sunrise effect
