Having a list of positive affirmations at the ready can help you shift your inner dialogue and re-frame your thinking. It may sound awkward, but a good way to jumpstart this process is to select an affirmation and repeat it to yourself a few times throughout the day.

Positive self-talk can take practice, so don’t get discouraged if it feels a little odd to get used to, or you catch yourself engaged in negative self-talk. Instead, think about it as an opportunity to improve!
