What is Emotional Support?
Emotional support is a way of helping others by listening with understanding and kindness.
Emotional support is not the same thing as problem solving, but when you are being supportive, you are being helpful.
When you’re being emotionally supportive, you listen more than you speak; you should never judge the person; and you let them know that it’s alright to be sad or angry.
People need to be heard and know that someone cares.
